Larapinta NT
This project is a series of temporary camp structures to add amenity to high-end walking tours along the Larapinta Trail in Central Australia’s West MacDonnell National Park.
The camp is devised as a grouping of sleeping platforms, composting toilets and ‘bush showers’. These elements will link to a ‘tented pavilion’ with a container fitted out to yield a camp kitchen and
stores.
Not a bad spot to return to after a day’s walk, to relax and (believe it or not) fine dine. The facility is supported by rainwater collection, and solar hot water and power.
The site’s design and operational parameters are devised through dialogue.
